You will work on business-critical backend systems, modern microservices, and cloud solutions while collaborating with an experienced Agile DevOps team.
Your responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain modern Java applications and microservices.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend solutions.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
Improve application performance, availability, and scalability.
Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and support.
Collaborate closely with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
Drive automation, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices.
Share technical knowledge and contribute to raising engineering standards within the team.
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience as a Java Developer or Backend Engineer.
Strong experience with Java (LTS versions) and Spring Boot.
Experience designing and developing microservices.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum DevOps teams.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and application performance optimization.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand new technologies.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to have
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
Experience with performance testing tools.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms.
Experience with secure software development and security scanning.
